World Animal Day
We celebrated on the 6th October by having Ark Farm visit Monkey Puzzle Harrow Day Nursery. The children were soooo excited, they got to pet and even feed the animals! 🐕🐓🦔🐇⠀
Pre-schoolers wrote about their experience after which was great to see their enthusiasm. Toddler children’s vocabulary increased rapidly as they learned how to describe the animals and discuss their feelings towards them!
Having something to care for such as a pet can increase well being and mental health. Any suggestions on what animal we should have as our nursery pet? At the moment we have wiggles the worm!
